🔍 Review your career year with this handy framework

Plus: Best of 2024, prep for 2025 with our upcoming chats + Job Hunt January guide

We did it! We’re just about through 2024.

As I’m about to take some time to rest and recharge (and I hope you are too), I’m also reflecting on what the past year has meant for my career. Today we’ll look at how to apply a handy evaluation framework to your career journey this past year.

For me, this has been a year of big transitions, as I returned to my previous company in a new role as a “boomerang employee,” allowing me to dedicate a portion of my work hours to growing Explore Your Career River. And what incredible growth it has been! We’ve more than tripled our subscribers and a really healthy number have opted to become Career River supporters. Because of your support, I’ve been able to launch a website and start hiring freelance contributors, and there’s much more on the horizon for next year.

📝 Programming note: I’ll be back in your inbox after the holidays. In the meantime, if you just can’t wait to tackle your career river for 2025, be sure to register for our upcoming Navigator Q&As (seriously, these are going to be sooo good) and check out my guidance on how to navigate your way to a fulfilling new role with Job Hunt January.
